You’re Loved and Connected
The demands of a “to do” list can leave you wrenching your body into actions and shapes that have nothing to do with the needs and desires of your body. How about doing something warmhearted and friendly for your body? Tell your heart and bones a story about how connected and loved you are.
It’s Alive
The earth, like your body, is full of mystery. It’s alive with activity, pulsing with movement. There’s digestive fire in your belly, and likewise the earth has a firey center! Scientists observe the earth breathing CO2 at a rhythm that follows patterns of night and day. You are on a dynamic living earth right now.
Let’s Imagine
The living earth is a sentient (aware) being who loves you. The force of gravity is the earth’s love for you. The Earth’s gravity pulls you closer to connect with you.
Imagine the earth loves you.
Feel her breathing slowly under you.
Give your weight generously. She loves to feel you relax into her. She loves when you notice her. You can turn to her when you are in need of rest, or to ground excitement or nervousness. She loves you all the time no matter what you’re doing.
Here it is right now. This is unconditional support.
